DST Collection — Integrated ERP for Retail & Garment Manufacturing

DST Collection is a custom-built ERP system for a women's clothing brand that runs two interlocking business lines under one roof: a retail storefront and an in-house garment workshop that cuts and produces its own stock from raw materials. Before this system, sales, inventory, purchasing, cutting production, cash flow, and payroll were tracked separately and manually, making it hard to see accurate stock levels, real costs, or business performance at a glance. The project was built to bring every part of the operation — from raw material purchase to finished product sale — into one connected system with proper access control for each role in the business.

Key Features

  • Product & Inventory Management: Products with variants, categories, pricing tiers, and stock tracking, including full stock mutation history and periodic stock opname (physical stock count) with a submit/verify/reject approval flow.

  • Raw Material & Cutting Workflow: Tracks raw materials and suppliers, purchase orders, and the cutting process that converts raw materials into finished product stock, with material combinations and completion tracking.

  • Sales & Transactions: Point-of-sale style order handling with item-level detail, order status tracking, invoicing with printable/shareable invoice links, and restock management.

  • Finance & Cash Management: Cash account deposits/withdrawals, expense tracking, and employee cash advances (kasbon) with approval and payment workflows.

  • Payroll & HR: Automated monthly payroll generation, payroll adjustments, attendance tracking with reminders and penalty checks, and leave request approvals.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Nine distinct roles (owner, store admin, raw-material admin, director, cashier, marketing, stock auditor, etc.), each scoped to only the modules and actions relevant to their job.

  • Business Analytics Dashboard: Consolidated view of revenue trends, profit metrics, expense summary, top products/customers/suppliers, cash overview, and stock levels across both the retail and manufacturing sides.

  • Public Storefront: A customer-facing homepage with product catalog, search, and category filtering for browsing active and featured products.

  • Automated Background Jobs: Scheduled tasks for payroll generation, attendance reminders, attendance penalty checks, and media cleanup, so routine operational work runs without manual intervention.

  • Activity Logging & Notifications: Full audit trail of user actions plus in-app and push notifications for important events.

Outcome

The system gives the business owner and managers a single source of truth for stock, cash, and staff activity across both the retail and manufacturing sides of the operation — closing the gap between "what's on paper" and "what's actually happening on the floor." Role-based permissions let staff at every level work in the same system without overstepping their scope, while the analytics dashboard turns previously scattered records into actionable decisions on restocking, cost management, and channel performance.
